Jaime Lauren Posa
Founder
Jaime is a lover of healthy living, a practicer of peace, an exerciser of yoga and a dedicated learner. She lives for passion and discovering the beauty that exists in and all around us.
She is a sister of four girls, currently living in New York, but has left pieces of her heart in many countries
In 2009, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and shortly after left for El Salvador as a US Peace Corps Volunteer. She worked in a tiny farming community in the region of Morazan as a Community Organization and Economic Development Volunteer. She started an artisan business and female soccer club, taught art education, helped provide 15 computers, 10 wheelchairs and 2 international scholarships, built a foot-bridge and formed a family. She is indebted to the land, the people, and the experience, which has set her on a bright path.

Lili and Karyme
Inspiration
Lili and Karyme -
Lili and Karyme would be Jaime's favorite little Salvadorans, if she had favorites. Lorena, one of our advanced artisans and Jaime's best friend from El Salvador, is Karyme's mother and also raised her niece Lili. These two little girls are Jaime's inspiration for "By Happiness". Jaime wants to see them go to college.

Reason
Lorena, Marilyn, Karyme and Lili -
The family that hosted, fed and taught Jaime for two years.
Evelyn and Glenda
Artisans
Evelyn and Glenda are two young artisans studying in secondary school who meet with the jewelry group on Saturdays. Glenda was Jaime's neighbor in El Salvador, along with her herd of cows, and Evelyn hosted Jaime for Christmas 2011. In this photo, they are representing the artisan jewelry group and soccer team during a community celebration.
Artisans
Doris, Lorena, Jose Felipe, Corina, Santana and Leonel -
The women and their families who work hard in their "first real job" as artisans, when they are not occupied cooking, cleaning and hand-washing clothes.
